The largest kendama lesson consists of 268 participants and was achieved at an event organised by Shirakawa City (Japan) at Qatar Sports Park Shirakawa, in Shirakawa, Fukushima, Japan, on 22 February 2015.

During the lesson, the participants learned and practiced the following tricks: Oo-zara, Rousoku and Tomeken. Along the course of the lesson, the participants also learned about the origins of kendama and it's current popularity around the world.

The record attempt was part of the opening ceremony celebrations for the newly built Qatar Sports Park Shirakawa.
